Checking a redacted PDF?
Open it, select all the text, copy it, and paste it above. A black box drawn over a word does not remove the word — the text is still in the file and comes straight back out with copy and paste. If names appear in the results, the redaction failed and the document is still disclosing them.

What this does and does not tell you
It reports what was found and how much — the types and the counts. It does not show the values back, and it does not return the cleaned text. Create an account and you get both your text and your PDFs back clean, with ten free credits to start.
It is also not a compliance sign-off. No automated system is perfect, and a detector cannot see context that identifies someone indirectly — “the finance director” names a person if there is only one. Always review before anything leaves your organisation.
